  • Here at Caves Village Veterinary Hospital (CVVH) we encourage our team members to volunteer at the local animal welfare organizations like The Humane Society and BAARK.

    We have in the past assisted with preparing animals for airlifts by performing pre-travel medical care.

  • Unfortunately at this time The Bahamas does not offer pet insurance. But we are hopeful to see a change in the future.

    However, if you have international pet insurance we advise confirming with your provider if they support The Bahamas.

  • Absolutely! If you are traveling to The Bahamas we recommend booking a Pet Travel Consultation with our pet travel team before setting your travel dates.

    Travel arrangements such as flights and hotels should be arranged by you or your travel agency.

  • Our hospital is not open on holidays; but we are always available to take your emergency calls. To reach our “on call” Veterinarian please call 1 242 327 8450 and our answering machine will provide you with the name and number of the emergency Veterinarian who is on call.
